Introducing the Stunning DRZ 07 “Universo”

With its perfectly balanced 37.5mm diameter, the DRZ 07 “Universo” is neither too small nor too large, it’s just right. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of horology, this versatile watch is designed to fit effortlessly on any wrist.

Case: A Refined Signature

The “sliced lugs” design, a hallmark of Direnzo Watches, makes its return with the DRZ 07. Originally seen in the DRZ 05 Solaris, this design has been refined to perfection with slightly curved sides and compact proportions: 37.5mm in diameter and 45mm lug-to-lug. This ensures a snug, comfortable fit for wrists of all sizes, particularly those on the smaller side.

The Universo boasts a 10 ATM water resistance rating, making it the perfect companion for all your adventures. The screw-down crown even features a glowing Super-LumiNova dot, adding a subtle yet functional touch.

Every metal component, including the case, bezel, case back, crown, bracelet, and clasp, has been coated with a hard coat resistance layer rated at HV 800 to keep those pesky everyday scratches at bay. And to maintain a slim profile (under 11.00mm), we opted for a solid case back.

Dial: A Bold Splash of Color

The DRZ 07 introduces an incredible array of vibrant colors, including our very first Aventurine Dial, a material renowned for its sparkling, starry effect. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out; the shimmering dial elevates the watch into a true showstopper.

Taking cues from the DRZ 04 Mondial, the dial features the signature dual-minute track and a unique bowl-shaped design, a concept first introduced with the DRZ 02 in 2018. This design creates a seamless transition between the dial and case, enhancing depth and delivering a captivating 3D effect.

Bracelet: Classic Meets Modern Convenience

The DRZ 07 “Universo” comes with a 316L stainless steel Jubilee bracelet, celebrated for its comfort and iconic design. The 5-link structure, featuring three smaller central links flanked by two larger outer links, provides a luxurious fit.

For the first time, we’re including an on-the-fly adjustment clasp. Partnering with our friends at Nodus, we’ve incorporated their innovative Nodex clasp, chosen for its ease of use. If you’re sharing this watch with your partner, this feature ensures effortless size adjustments for similar wrist sizes.

Did you know? The Jubilee bracelet was introduced by Rolex in 1945 to celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary. It first appeared on the iconic Rolex Datejust, one of the earliest self-winding chronometer watches with a date display.
