The 2001 Marina Militare was created in 2025 on direct commission from the Italian Navy: based on the case of the 2001 collection, a model was designed with dedicated geometry and dimensions exclusive to this collaboration, with the bezel and dial colour defined according to military specifications, and domed applied indexes for maximum legibility underwater. Initially sold only to Navy personnel, in 2026 it is being made available to the civilian public for the first time in its history — in 500 numbered pieces.

Every 2001 watch born from the collaboration between Squale and the Italian Navy is subject to a precise agreement: the specific combination of case, geometry, colours and dimensions of each edition is never reproduced for future commercial variants. Like the models once supplied to military personnel and later destroyed, this collaboration is a symbol of uniqueness and unrepeatability.
