The 36mm OSAR-D Arctic builds on the strengths of the SAR-D, originally issued to Canadian SAR (Search and Rescue) Techs in the early 2000s
Today’s OSAR-D Arctic Edition is re-engineered with upgraded MaraGlo illumination, larger indices, improved cyclops and a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with Incabloc® Shock Absorber. Continuing the tradition of offering a white dial option for models in the SAR lineup, the Arctic OSAR-D provides better legibility in bright and snow-blind scenarios.

THE SEARCH AND RESCUE DIVE SERIES
Marathon Search and Rescue (SAR) watches are developed to Canadian Government requirements for use in professional SAR operations. First introduced in the early 1990s, the SAR Series continues to be an essential kit element for elite members of both the Canadian and U.S. militaries.
Included with the OSAR-D Arctic is our 3-Piece Rubber Strap Kit, also manufactured in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, our strap kit is crafted from FKM Rubber to meet the requirements of high-performance military applications. The 3-Piece Kit comes with one (6 o'clock) tail piece with 8 adjustment holes, and two (12 o'clock) buckle pieces of different sizing that allow the wearer to tailor the length to fit their wrist size.
